Learning Support Assistant required for the London Borough of Enfield for a long-term role starting in September.

The role involves supporting students across KS3 and KS4 with their learning and development. Previous school-based experience is preferred.

A welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Enfield is seeking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join its support team from September on a long-term basis. As the successful Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students across KS3 and KS4, providing targeted support to help them access the curriculum, develop their confidence and make positive progress. You will provide both in-class and small-group support, assist students with their learning, encourage independence and engagement, and work collaboratively with teachers and the school's wider support team to ensure students receive the appropriate guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children or young people, either within a school or similar educational setting. Experience supporting students with additional learning needs or SEND would be advantageous. You will be patient, proactive, adaptable and committed to creating a positive learning environment where every student feels supported, valued and encouraged to achieve their best.
