Exams Administration Officer required for a mainstream secondary school in an Inner London borough for a long-term role starting in September.
The role involves supporting the planning, organisation and administration of all internal and external examinations, ensuring they are conducted in line with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing examination timetables
- Organising exam materials
- Liaising with invigilators
- Maintaining accurate student records
- Processing examination entries
- Supporting results days
- Assisting with the day-to-day administration of the school's examinations function
Experience using SIMS is highly desirable, along with previous experience working within a school administration or examinations environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure while managing multiple deadlines.
