EAL Support Mentor required for a mainstream secondary school in Camden for a September start.

Are you a passionate EAL Support Mentor looking to secure a permanent position? Do you have experience supporting students with English as an Additional Language to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential? Are you qualified in TESOL, TEFL or CELTA, with a commitment to helping EAL learners thrive in a mainstream secondary school environment?

The role involves working closely with students who speak English as an Additional Language, providing tailored support to develop their English language skills and enable them to fully access the curriculum. You will work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt learning materials where appropriate, monitor student progress, deliver targeted interventions, and support students both in and out of the classroom.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised TESOL, TEFL or CELTA qualification (or equivalent), have experience working with secondary-aged students, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for supporting multilingual learners.
