A Behaviour Mentor is required in Lewisham for a PRU / Alternative Provision, offering £100-£120 a day depending on experience. This is a full-time position with an immediate start.
Previous experience supporting pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour is required. Experience working in a PRU, school, or alternative provision is desirable. Candidates must be confident with behaviour management and de-escalation strategies.
The Role - Behaviour Mentor:
- Seeking a resilient and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils aged 11-16 within a specialist setting.
- You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support.
- Help pupils manage behaviour, regulate emotions, and re-engage with learning.
- Implement behaviour support plans, use de-escalation techniques, promote positive behaviour, and maintain a structured and consistent environment.
