The Position - HLTA & Play and Enrichment Lead
A welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive HLTA & Play and Enrichment Lead to join their team as soon as possible. This is a varied role combining classroom cover, specialist SEND support and leadership of the school's Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) provision.The successful HLTA & Play and Enrichment Lead will deliver planned lessons across KS1 and KS2, provide one-to-one and small-group support within the school's specialist SEND Resource Base, and help pupils access engaging and inclusive learning experiences. You will work closely with teachers and the senior leadership team to ensure pupils receive consistent support and opportunities to succeed.Alongside your classroom responsibilities, you will lead the development of the school's play culture, coordinate play staff, train pupil OPAL Ambassadors and engage parents and community partners. You will help develop outdoor play provision, source creative play resources and work towards achieving and maintaining high OPAL standards.You will also coordinate the school's after-school clubs and enrichment activities, overseeing bookings, registers, participation and quality assurance.
