We are currently working with a warm, welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bradford that is looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to join their nursery team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, values-driven environment, supporting children at a crucial stage in their development through engaging, play-based learning. You will play a key role in helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating setting, supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of creative, play-based learning activities
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress
- Support children’s personal, social and emotional development
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and engaging environment at all times
- Work closely with teachers and the wider Early Years team
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Level 2 (minimum) or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
- Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development
