Behavioural Pastoral Lead position within a PRU setting in Greenwich. The role supports pupils aged 11‑16 who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion, providing personalised learning, strong pastoral support and structured behaviour systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead behaviour interventions, de‑escalation and safeguarding support.
  • Oversee behaviour support and emotional regulation across the provision.
  • Manage reintegration plans, respond to behavioural incidents and support pupils at risk of exclusion.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, safeguarding teams and teaching staff.
  • Liaise with families and external agencies to ensure holistic support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a school‑based behaviour or pastoral role.
  • Experience working within a PRU or alternative provision is highly desirable.
  • Confidence leading behaviour interventions, de‑escalation and safeguarding support.
  • Strong leadership and school‑based pastoral experience.
