Seeking an experienced Behaviour Lead to support pupils with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs. You will oversee behaviour strategies, lead personalised interventions, support de-escalation and model consistent, relational practice to help pupils re-engage with learning. The role includes developing behaviour plans, analysing behaviour data, collaborating with teaching and pastoral teams and liaising with families and external professionals. You will contribute to safeguarding and provide guidance and training to staff, helping maintain a safe, structured and inclusive environment where young people can make meaningful progress.

A specialist alternative education provision in Basildon supporting young people aged 11-16 who require a more personalised and vocational approach to learning. The provision delivers a supportive and structured environment for pupils with barriers to mainstream education, including social, emotional and behavioural needs, as well as complex engagement profiles. The ethos centres on positive relationships, respect, diversity and ambition, with staff working collaboratively to remove barriers to learning and support pupils to achieve meaningful qualifications and successful post-16 progression. The school was judged Good at its most recent Ofsted inspection with their aim to reach Outstanding soon.
