Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to support their Financial Planning team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with advisers, contribute to technical research, and play a key role in delivering excellent client outcomes.
The Role
The Senior Paraplanner will support Financial Planners by preparing high-quality written advice, carrying out technical research, and ensuring all client recommendations are compliant, accurate, and delivered efficiently. You will work across a broad range of advice areas, supporting both ongoing and new client work, while helping the business maintain high technical and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare suitability reports across a wide range of advice types.
- Carry out technical research to support client recommendations.
- Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Support Financial Planners with client cases and technical queries.
- Maintain accurate records across core systems.
- Liaise with advisers to progress and complete client work.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings and support business objectives.
- Maintain ongoing CPD and industry knowledge.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Paraplanner within a financial planning or wealth management firm.
- Experience producing suitability reports.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of advice areas.
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry systems.
Desirable
- Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or working towards Chartered status.
- Experience with cashflow modelling.
- Knowledge of trusts and estate planning.
- Experience using systems such as Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
