We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Labourer to join our growing team at our Qualis Property Solutions office in Loughton, Essex. Do you love to collaborate and help businesses thrive? At Qualis as a Labourer you will be carrying out general labouring duties in support of various trades such as cleaning and preparing construction sites, loading and unloading materials and equipment, building and taking down temporary structures and assisting other skilled colleagues in their duties. This exciting opportunity will be based in Loughton, Essex. You will join us on a 2 month Fixed-Term full-time basis in return for a salary of ÂŁ25,500 - ÂŁ27,000 per annum. Salary will reflect your skills and knowledge. You will also receive other benefits including:

Your role and responsibilities:
- To carry out general labouring duties in a competent manner with the completion of works being to an acceptable standard, including undertaking “secondary trade” skills as required.
- Clearance of furniture, carpets and general household rubbish from properties (including trade rubbish).
- Cleaning and washing of cupboard units, drawers, worktops, floors, windows and bathroom suites in connection with void properties.
- Loading of vehicle and transporting & disposing of waste material to designated dumping zones accordingly.
- Complete and retain all Waste Transfer Notices and collection of materials/plant from suppliers and deliver to site.
- To work in conjunction with other trades and carry out various straightforward maintenance tasks including FRA works.
- Climbing to heights and conducting work while properly using safety restraints.
- In addition, you will be required to carry out job reports and take photos for each order issued via the PDA.
- Use the delivery service and “Pod” assigned to you, to maintain and replenish your impressed stock, while minimising travel and downtime.
- Ensure standby log sheets, material orders, vehicle checks, annual leave requests are all completed through our systems and in line with our policies.
- Achieve relevant productivity and performance targets set on an annual basis.
- To undertake flexible working patterns as required to provide effective, customer–focussed services. This includes taking part in the standby duty rota outside of normal office hours.
- Understand and abide by the Health & Safety regulations and ensure all work practices are safe and ensuring that there is always compliance with all company policy and procedures. This includes using risk assessments for tasks, reporting near misses and dangerous occurrences to your supervisor.
- Ensure the safe, effective use of tools and plant ensuring they are regularly maintained and serviced, and your supervisor is notified of any loss or damage.
- Act as an ambassador for Qualis Management and their Clients at all times.

Qualifications and experience:
- Experience in the building industry to acquire the skills and techniques required for this role.
- Full driving licence.
- A satisfactory DBS check is required as part of this role.
- Experience of fast‑paced, maintenance and repair environment.
