Team Leader Role Hours: Full-time (Minimum 3 shifts per week, 11.75 hours per shift) Salary: £14.95 per hour (includes pension and 28 days annual leave) Shift Availability: Must be fully flexible, including both day and night shifts Key Responsibilities: * Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a small team of carers in a residential care home setting. * Medication Management: Handle medication cycles, including ordering, receiving, carry-forward, and auditing. * Care Planning: Write, update, and maintain accurate care plans with strong written English skills. * Risk Assessments: Perform risk assessments and document them effectively. * Communication: Must have excellent spoken and written English. * Attitude: We are looking for a proactive, friendly, and supportive individual. Training and Development: * Full annual care training provided (SOVA, Health & Safety, Infection Control). * Opportunities for ongoing development through NVQs or additional training programs. Requirements: * Experience: Must have prior experience working as a Team Leader in a residential care home. * Skills: Previous experience in managing carers, care planning, and medication management is essential. Please Note: We are not considering candidates who: * Have only worked under nurses in care settings. As a residential home, we do not have nurses on staff. The Team Leader will be the most senior person onsite after the Manager and Deputy. * Have experience solely as a Senior Carer/Senior Support Worker in a domiciliary care agency, as this role involves managing care on a smaller, more intimate scale
