We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Team Leader to join our nursing home team conveniently located near Harrow. This is a night shift position, ideal for a confident care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising the care team during night shifts
- Administering medication safely and in line with company policies
- Completing and updating care plans and risk assessments
- Ensuring residents' safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily needs
- Acting as the main point of contact during the night shift
- Maintaining accurate documentation and handovers
- Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and internal procedures
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Minimum 2 years experience in a residential or nursing home setting
- Previous experience in a Senior Carer or Team Leader role
- Medication administration competency
- Strong understanding of care plans and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage night shift responsibilities
