We are looking for a Regional Manager to be based in the East of England region to work within our regional business development team to deliver high-quality, continually improving, efficient and responsive services to our customers. The successful candidate will be required to seek new business opportunities for Qualifications Scotland, grow uptake of products/services, meeting and exceeding sales targets. They will sell Qualifications Scotland products and services to existing and potential customers within a given area (e.g. geographical) and support the development of market and customer intelligence for that area.

Taking responsibility for leading on certain products and key accounts, they will work within a sales team to manage and develop relationships with new and existing customers and be the ‘voice of the customer’ within Qualifications Scotland.

You must also have the following skills and experience:

  • Managing and developing relationships with new customers.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to promote the organisation's products.
  • Developing and maintaining effective, collaborative working relationships with colleagues.
  • Thorough knowledge of the education sector including competitor landscapes, funding, apprenticeships, national qualifications framework and assessment techniques.
  • Educated to degree level and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role. Experience within the education sector is highly desirable for this role.

Please note that this post will involve extensive travel throughout East of England; there is a car allowance and business travel expenses will be reimbursed.
