10+ years experienced SAP Portfolio Lead. Proven experience (10+ years) in project/programme management and delivery is essential. Experience of project and finance reporting tool. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse teams to think clearly and present ideas and plans in a concise and effective manner. Experience of working and leading project teams including third party vendors, Business Analysts, Test team, SMEs. Experience of effectively managing 3rd party vendors is essential. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is essential.
Having an overarching view of the future direction, roadmap and exploitation of SAP as the Client’s asset, to enable IT to demonstrate the value of SAP to the business. Managing the incoming pipeline of work to enable a smooth flow of prioritised business objectives to be achieved. Work with the Client’s stakeholders to understand and analyse business requirements turning opportunities into deliverable statements of work. Overall management and control of SAP projects identified within the agreed SAP portfolio. Own all aspects of delivery, including budget, quality, customer satisfaction and solution assurance. Ensure related resource planning, deliverables and team expectations are appropriately managed.
Domain Skills: Setting and managing expectations throughout the full project lifecycle.
Process Skills: Capable of analyzing requirements as per project defined software process. Develop and peer review of LLD (Initiate/ participate in peer reviews). Ability to execute test plans, create test cases, test data and contribute to problem solving.
Behavioral Skills: Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs. Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project. Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensures client satisfaction. Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
