About Qualicare Durham Region

Qualicare Durham Region is expanding its rehabilitation services under a new WSIB contract to support injured workers requiring in-home physiotherapy. Our model emphasizes functional recovery, safety, and timely return to work within a professionally governed, community-based program.

Role Summary

We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists to provide in-home WSIB rehabilitation services for injured workers who cannot attend outpatient clinics. This role focuses on mobility, strength, pain management, and functional independence using evidence‑based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete in‑home PT assessments for WSIB clients
  • Deliver individualized, goal‑oriented rehabilitation programs
  • Address mobility, strength, endurance, and pain management
  • Progress treatment plans within WSIB treatment blocks
  • Educate clients on self‑management and recovery strategies
  • Complete WSIB‑compliant documentation and reporting within timelines
  • Collaborate with RN assessors and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

  • Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience
  • Community, orthopedic, or rehab experience preferred
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Compensation Model
