This position offers the opportunity to develop specialized dermatology knowledge, work alongside experienced providers, and grow professionally within a supportive team environment. Previous medical clinic experience is preferred, and dermatology experience is highly desired, but not required.

As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient experiences while supporting providers in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing patients for visits by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting relevant information.
• Assisting physicians during dermatologic examinations, biopsies, procedures, and treatments.
• Educating patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare recommendations.
• Maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
• Supporting clinic operations through scheduling, patient communication, and coordination of care.
• Preparing and maintaining exam rooms, instruments, and supplies.
• Performing specimen collection and handling according to established protocols.

High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interactions. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is advantageous.

Compensation Range: $22.00-$29.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
