You’ll be joining a collaborative and well‑established engineering organisation with deep expertise in digital design, verification, and systems development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own complex blocks or major features, translating customer use‑cases into robust definitions and micro‑architectures.
  • Drive the design, integration and IP sign‑off through to final RTL delivery, running ASIC development tools including PLDRC, CDC, synthesis.
  • Contribute to the architectural definition for audio IP blocks, balancing PPA, programmability, reuse, and system‑level requirements.
  • Work with design, verification, firmware and systems teams, to align on architecture, system performance and debug strategy.
  • Make technical trade‑offs and decisions in areas of ambiguity, balancing risk, schedule, and long‑term IP quality.
  • Produce and review high‑quality documentation, including micro‑architecture specifications, design reviews, and programming guides.
  • Review verification coverage and waveforms, and contribute to test development in a UVM environment for corner cases or silicon debug.
  • Support silicon bring‑up and post‑silicon debug, taking the learnings back to improve IP quality or development cycle.
  • Contribute to improving design methodologies, IP quality, and engineering best practices.
  • Provide regular status updates, clearly communicating progress and risks against expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

Required Competencies

  • Demonstrated proficiency in RTL design in SystemVerilog, ideally having experience of SystemC and HLS (High‑Level Synthesis) tools.
  • Strong communicator with excellent technical presentation skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of DSP design for audio (or related modem/DSP technologies).
  • Experience with low power design, power analysis and power optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience of defining HW/FW interfaces.
  • Able to work autonomously, demonstrating technical competency and strong technical judgement.
  • Able to make data‑driven decisions and mentor less experienced engineers.
  • Proactive and creative, with a strong desire to continuously improve designs, processes, and team effectiveness, and to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
