We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Nuclear Medicine Service Manager to lead our highly specialised Nuclear Medicine department. This is a key operational and strategic role, responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services.

Based in Wimbledon, South‑West London, Cancer Centre London (CCL) is at the forefront of innovative Cancer Care. Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership for diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and PET‑CT services.
  • Act as Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) in accordance with IRR17, working closely with the Medical Physics Expert (MPE) and Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA).
  • Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R 2017 (as amended), IRR17, UKHSA radioactive substances licensing (ARSAC framework), and MHRA medicines requirements.
  • Support ARSAC/UKHSA licence holders and ensure practitioner/operator entitlement, training and audit.
  • Lead safe delivery of radionuclide therapies (e.g. Lu‑177, Ra‑223, I‑131) including inpatient/outpatient pathways.
  • Maintain CQC readiness for inspections relating to radiation safety and medicines management.
