This role is based at Aberdeen. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The Mechanical Fitter will function in the Fluid Intelligence production department.
Tasks:
- Assembling mechanical and/or air operated components into finished products from sub-assemblies by following engineering drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assemble parts, sub-assemblies, or completed units using tools like torque wrenches, spanners, sockets, and pneumatic guns.
- Interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and process sheets.
- Perform routine, in-process, and final quality checks to ensure components align and function to specifications.
- Adhere to Company Health & Safety (H&S) regulations, including COSHH, and maintain a clean 5S workspace.
Requirements:
- Assembly experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings & work autonomously.
