This role involves delivering customer-focused service, working with the site manager to manage the day-to-day scope of work for Quaker Houghton. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. The shift pattern is 42 hours weekly (Dayshift Cleaner).
Tasks:
- Manage the cleanliness on the shop floor efficiently on a daily basis.
- Assist with the management of swarf bin movements when required.
- Identify site requirements, provide solutions, and suggest ways of continuously improving services while promoting high health and safety standards.
- Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to the site manager or team leader.
- Provide other specifically agreed cleaning services as required by the Site Manager.
Requirements:
- Full training will be provided.
- Good communication skills.
- Preferably has knowledge of working in an engineering environment.
- Forklift experience is advantageous.
- A fast learner eager to develop a career in the manufacturing sector.
