The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The Management Accountant will be based at Quadrant Simulation Systems in Burgess Hill and will report directly to the Managing Director. Working hours and pattern to be agreed with the Managing Director. This role must be flexible to work around month end and payroll. Hours: 24 hours. Location: In office role at Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

Key Requirements:

  • CIMA
  • Existing right to live and work in the UK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Management Accounts including all month end journals.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Approval of payment runs.
  • Produce remittance advices and post all payments and receipts in the Finance Assistant’s absence.
  • Preparation of fortnightly cashflow forecasts.
  • Compile and produce monthly, quarterly, annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure all POs are up to date, approve where appropriate.
  • Assist with preparation of Prepay Sales invoices in Finance Assistant’s absence.
  • Ensure invoices raised in a timely manner.
  • Assist with Credit Control.
  • Supervision of Finance Assistant.
  • Complete and submit all data to 3rd party payroll company.
  • Review of payroll reports received from 3rd party payroll company.
  • Update and submit monthly pension payments.
  • Production of audit files.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT Returns and VAT reconciliations.
  • Maintenance of general ledger.
  • Produce monthly/quarterly reports as required.
  • ONS Surveys (Office National Statistics).
