Our team is passionate about partnering with our clients to deliver quality events and we are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our creative team.  

Job Description: 

As a Graphic Designer at Quadrant Events Nottingham, you will play a vital role in our event production process working on prestigious events for national and regional blue-chip companies. You will collaborate with our diverse team to create client proposals, website assets for registration sites and event apps, small format print such as badges and menus, large format print for stage sets and screen content, including PowerPoint and Keynote presentations and design marketing and social media artwork. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented designer to showcase their skills in a creative and fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the creative team to design and develop client proposals, ensuring they are visually engaging, on-brand, and aligned with client requirements. 
  • Create compelling and eye-catching print designs, including badges, menus, brochures, flyers, signage, and promotional materials. 
  • Design and develop screen content for presentations, utilising PowerPoint and Keynote to create visually striking slides that enhance the overall event experience. 
  • Work with the Software Specialist to create registration sites and event app designs 
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to create artwork for social media posts and promotional content 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including event planners and marketing, to understand project objectives and deliver designs that exceed client expectations. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and software advancements to continually enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team. 
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. 
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all design deliverables. 
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, such as printers, to ensure the successful execution of print projects. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally within the event production or creative agency industry. [3-year commercial experience minimum] 
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Keynote). 
  • Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design work, including client proposals, print designs, and screen content. 
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques. 
  • Ability to translate client requirements into visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the desired message. 
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with clients. 
  • Familiarity with print production processes and experience coordinating with external suppliers.
