Quadient is seeking to recruit two Field Operations Support Technicians to join our growing team—one to cover the North of the UK and another for the South. These roles are essential in supporting our Senior Field Service Technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of both Smart Parcel Lockers and Mail-Related Systems. The successful candidates will handle manual equipment setup, ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods and parts, and perform basic maintenance tasks on our devices. If you’re a hands-on, detail-oriented individual with a knack for providing exceptional support, we want to hear from you. Opportunity is remote field role based in the London/South of UK area.
Your role in our future Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on Quadient's Smart Parcel Lockers and Mail-Related Systems.
- Assist in resolving minor technical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
Logistics and Equipment Handling:
- Safely transport equipment, parts, and tools using a company-provided vehicle.
- Use proper loading techniques to avoid equipment damage.
Customer Service:
- Act as a point of contact for customers during site visits, providing updates and answering basic queries.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks, equipment transported, and parts used via Service Max.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Your profile:
- Prior experience in a field service or technical support role is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to (specify weight)).
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and in various environments.
- Full valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel extensively within your assigned region (North or South UK).
