Company Description

At Quadient, we support businesses of all sizes in their digital transformation and growth journey, unlocking operational efficiency with reliable, secure, and sustainable automation processes. Our success in delivering innovation and business growth is inspired by the connections our diverse teams create every day, with our clients and each other. It’s these connections that make Quadient such an exceptional place to grow your career, develop your skills and make a real impact – help our future-focused business lead the way in powering secure and sustainable business connections through digital and physical channels.

Job Description

For 100 years, Quadient has grown through traditional sales channels. Now we're changing how our customers buy from us, and we're looking for the leader who will make digital commerce one of our most important revenue engines.

This is a rare chance to own an e-commerce business end to end, with full P&L accountability, at a global company in the middle of a real transformation. You'll set the strategy and lead the team that delivers it.

What you'll do

  • Grow e-commerce as a strategic channel. You'll own revenue, customer acquisition, lifetime value and OPEX, and forecast and deliver against quarterly targets.

  • Lead our SMB shift to digital-first. Working with Sales leadership, you'll redesign how small and mid-sized customers discover, buy and onboard, moving from sales-led to self-service.

  • Own the platform roadmap. You'll partner with IT, MarTech and R&D to build a conversion-optimised experience that connects seamlessly with our back-end systems.

  • Build a best-in-class analytics function. Your reporting framework will span e-commerce, web and mail marketing, turning data into decisions at every level.

  • Put AI to work. You'll bring AI, automation and experimentation into personalisation, customer engagement and commercial performance.

  • Lead and grow a team. You'll develop a high-performing team, with room to shape its structure as the business scales.

Why join us

You’ll be shaping the future of how Quadient sells, not maintaining a channel that already exists. As we expand our software portfolio, digital commerce sits at the heart of our growth plans. That gives you real visibility, real ownership and a transformation story that few leaders get to tell.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience in e-commerce or commercial leadership, including at least 5 years in a global role

  • A proven track record of driving significant online growth with full P&L ownership

  • Deep data fluency: you know that in e-commerce, the data is how you hear the customer

  • Experience moving a business from sales-led to digital or self-service models, ideally in software or SaaS

  • Strong digital marketing knowledge across traffic generation, full-funnel activation and conversion optimisation

  • Experience owning enterprise e-commerce platforms and integrations with ERP, CRM and fulfilment

  • Practical experience using AI to improve marketing, sales or customer outcomes

  • The influence to align senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, IT and Finance

  • An entrepreneurial, self-starting approach, and evidence of building teams people want to be part of
