Quack Recruitment & Training is currently recruiting for a Construction Tutor to join our team. As a Construction Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality training to learners in the retrofit sector, focusing on energy efficiency, sustainability, and domestic retrofit principles. The role involves engaging with learners, and ensuring their successful progression within the retrofit industry. Responsibilities for the Construction Tutor role will be: * Initial and Diagnostic Assessments: Conduct assessments to tailor delivery to meet the needs of individual learners, ensuring effective learning outcomes. * Engaging and High-Quality Delivery: Deliver lessons across a range of ability groups, ensuring that each session meets academic and funding criteria while challenging and inspiring learners. * Monitoring and Assessing Learner Progress: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the course and assess individual learner progress through learning plans, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure success. * Guidance and Support: Provide advice on progression opportunities and pre-programme information, including entry criteria specifications. * Teaching Materials: Produce and/or adapt teaching materials to ensure they are relevant, motivational, and tailored to the needs of learners. * Administrative Responsibilities: Keep up to date with administrative tasks, including registers, marking work, monitoring attendance, and completing funding documentation to ensure compliance with quality and funding requirements. * Team Collaboration: Attend and contribute to team meetings, standardisation meetings, and IQA activity to support continuous improvement. Requirements for the Construction Tutor role will be: * Qualification: Minimum of * CTLLS, PTLLS, AET, or PGCE, * Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA). * Retrofit Level 2 Qualification * Previous experience in delivering engaging and meaningful learning activities in the employment and skills sector. * Proven track record in meeting challenging contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. * In-depth knowledge of the local labour market, sector skill gaps, and education & training providers. * Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills. * IT proficient, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint). Pay for the Construction Tutor role will be: £35-45k PA Hours for the Construction Tutor role will be: 30 – 40 hours (dependent on requirements) In order to apply for the Construction Tutor role, contact one of the team at Quack Recruitment and Training.
