Reports to: Commercial Manager

Based at: London Area

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Commercial Manager shall have the responsibility and authority for the administration and overseeing of all contracts assigned to REL and shall, at a minimum:
  • Management of Quantity Surveyors.
  • Contract Reviews for all new tenders and quotations.
  • Contract reviews prior to project implementation, with operational staff.
  • Liaison with clients regarding commercial aspects of contracts.
  • Ensure valuations and certifications are issued each period by the Quantity Surveyors.
  • Ensure Cost Value Reports are produced for each project.
  • Preparation of monthly commercial reports to the Commercial Manager.
  • Comply with all REL company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in any other aspect of the Company where required.

Scale and territory indicators: As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be based in the London Area, you will also be expected to be involved in commercial business throughout the UK.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working for a contractor.
