- Review of health and safety processes and documentation
- Assist in the production health & safety, environmental and quality documentation
- Identifying new and amended safety requirements/legislation.
- Provision of safety awareness training and advice
- Dissemination of safety information and โTool Box Talksโ
- Site inspections, tours, site safety conversations and issuing all reports as required (Managers, Compliance)
- Site specific (SWP, POS, IRATA) and internal system audits
- Attendance of health, safety, quality or environmental related meetings with both QTS and Clients
- Undertake and assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents
- Encouraging and promoting Behavioural Safety/Science schemes
- Ensuring compliance with QTS Management, Supporting and Works Procedures
- Registering and maintenance of Close Calls
- Assist in the investigation and reporting of incidents and accidents
Skills Required
- NEBOSH Certificate
- IOSH membership
- Quality and Environmental Management Systems experience
- Sound knowledge of the H&S requirements of legislation, Railway Group and Railway Company standards
