Undertaking the maintenance of Stores as requested.
Recording of all goods issued to and from stores during shifts worked.
Ensuring that all paperwork such as time sheets, maintenance records, delivery tickets etc. are all returned timeously to the main office.
Operating relevant goods handling and yard maintenance plant and machinery (training will be provided where required).
Ensuring hazardous substances are stored/handled in accordance with instructions.
Assisting in managing stock levels, to ensure key stock items remain at the desired quantities.
Generally assisting other stores and yard personnel as requested.
Skills required:
- Experienced in stores.
- Must be IT literate.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must possess full, clean UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in operating a Forklift/Tele Handler (Desirable).
- Familiarity with UK Railway Standards (Desirable).
