Based at: QTS Group, 10th Floor, The Pinnacle, 73 King Street, Manchester, M2 4NG
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor workforce rosters and working hours to ensure compliance with Network Rail's fatigue management policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of shift patterns, rest periods, and working time limits.
- Support the implementation of fatigue risk mitigation strategies and contribute to continuous improvement in workforce wellbeing.
- Assist in planning and allocating resources across the framework, including labour, plant, and subcontractors.
- Maintain and update resource schedules and trackers in coordination with delivery and planning teams.
- Support mobilisation activities including training, access arrangements, and competency tracking.
- Liaise with commercial and operational teams to ensure resource plans align with programme and budget requirements.
- Support the Project Manager in the planning and execution of enabling works, including site access, utilities, surveys, and early-stage logistics.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure readiness for delivery phases, including engineering, safety, and commercial functions.
- Liaise with external suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely provision of materials, services, and documentation.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking (e.g., site diaries, safety briefings, permits).
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support the collation of data for performance reviews, KPIs, and lessons learned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in rail infrastructure or construction project coordination (preferred).
- Strong understanding of fatigue management and working time regulations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project/resource planning tools (e.g., Excel, MS Project).
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage competing priorities.
- PTS certification (preferred).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
