As Site Agent, you will be accountable for the daily management of projects ranging from £5k to £2m. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing contracts in alignment with legislative requirements, health and safety plans, and quality standards
- Ensuring IRATA Code of Practice is adhered to
- Providing technical/IRATA input to the pre-construction team
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Collaborating with site staff and liaising with the commercial team to ensure compliance with tender allowances
- Continuously monitoring project progress against contract objectives
- Identifying and managing changes to the contract
Skills Required
- Prior experience in all aspects of geotechnical projects (rail experience desirable but not essential)
- SMSTS certification
- IRATA competence or have held IRATA competence previously
- Experience at a Site Agent or Sub Agent level within a rail/geotechnical contracting environment
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary rail and geotechnical infrastructure maintenance frameworks
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
