The Senior Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Commercial Manager shall have the responsibility and authority for the administration and overseeing of all contracts assigned to REL and shall, at a minimum:

  • Management of Quantity Surveyors.
  • Contract Reviews for all new tenders and quotations.
  • Contract reviews prior to project implementation, with operational staff.
  • Liaison with clients regarding commercial aspects of contracts.
  • Ensure valuations and certifications are issued each period by the Quantity Surveyors.
  • Ensure Cost Value Reports are produced for each project.
  • Preparation of monthly commercial reports to the Commercial Manager.
  • Comply with all REL company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in any other aspect of the Company where required.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be based in the London Area, you will also be expected to be involved in commercial business throughout the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working for a contractor.

In your absence, the Commercial Manager will deputise.
