What’s it about?
Our Summer Student Internship is a paid, full-time 12-week program from November 2025 to February 2026. It focuses on the development of students who can offer strong problem solving and excellent communication skills.
What will you be doing?
Your experience from university will be utilised in real world projects embedded in our business, helping to shape the future of Australia’s energy industry. You’ll collaborate with Origin employees to support them in delivering today’s energy needs and innovate to create tomorrow’s energy solutions. What are we looking for?
You’ve got the passion to work in a diverse professional team – we’ve got the opportunity. We’re seeking ambitious and innovative Mechanical Engineering students who are just as passionate about the energy industry as we are! You have an appetite for problem solving that can support the demands of the energy exploration, production and generation industry. Most importantly, you enjoy having fun while you work!
- You are based in Australia and due to graduate in 2025 or 2026
- You are currently studying a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- You have exposure to working collaboratively in a team as well as demonstrated leadership skills through extracurricular activities and work experience.
- You must hold Australian or New Zealand permanent residence or citizenship to be eligible
