A secondary school in North Somerset is seeking to appoint a Temporary French Teacher for a short-term assignment of four weeks, starting mid-February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly capable teacher to join a well-established department and deliver engaging French lessons. All planning and teaching resources will be provided. We are keen to find an individual who can hit the ground running and maintain high standards from day one.

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or QTLS) and a strong background in Modern Foreign Languages.

Eligibility to work in a teaching role:

  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
  • Enhanced DBS with Barred List check certificate which is either on the online ‘Update Service’ or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate
