About the position
We’re on the hunt for a hungry Property Acquisition Manager to add to our current team! London-based | UK-wide travel | Full-Time. Chopstix is one of the fastest-growing QSR brands in the UK and we’ve got big plans to grow even faster. What do you bring
The Property Acquisition Manager plays a vital role in supporting the growth of the business through the identification and acquisition of high-performing new sites. Reporting to the Head of Property, they will take a proactive and analytical approach to sourcing and evaluating locations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. With a commercial focus, the role also includes managing agents, landlords, and other external partners to secure favourable terms and maintain cost-efficiency throughout the acquisition process.
- Support the Head of Property in identifying and securing new sites that meet our strategic and financial objectives.
- Conduct detailed location analysis, market research, and competitor benchmarking to assess site feasibility.
- Lead site acquisition negotiations, securing the best possible lease or purchase terms.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including landlords, franchisees, agents, developers, and solicitors.
- Attend and contribute to legal negotiations to ensure timelines are met and interests protected.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the wider property market to promote the Chopstix brand and secure future opportunities.
- Oversee and motivate retained property agents, ensuring focus and alignment with business needs.
- Maintain and update internal databases including town/city rankings, demographic reports, footfall analysis, and tracking of competitor activity.
- Produce Board-level reports and recommendations for prospective sites.
- Monitor market trends, emerging locations, and industry developments.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the property team, ensuring accurate documentation and records are maintained.
Performance is measured through the volume and quality of new site acquisitions, the speed and effectiveness of progressing opportunities from identification to deal closure, and the strength of the location pipeline. Success also includes negotiating cost-efficient lease terms, producing timely and accurate analysis, and maintaining strong agent relationships and market insight. High stakeholder satisfaction, both internal and external, acts as a key indicator of overall effectiveness.

Skills required:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to assess and present data-driven decisions.
- Highly organised with a structured and proactive approach.
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property market analysis tools.
- Ideally MRICS qualified or working toward a similar professional qualification.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the UK (and occasionally Europe).
- Strong working knowledge of Landlord & Tenant law and commercial property contracts.
