Job Description
Product transfer ops required in our leading pet food factory based in the North Scarle area of Lincoln.
As a Production Transfer Operative, you will be responsible for the efficient transfer of products from production to packing, ensuring minimal waste and maintaining high standards of quality control. This role also involves assisting with raw material transfers and providing cover for waste management. Flexibility to support various areas of the factory as needed is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure traceability of products, including quantities within the WIP bin installation.
– Purge products to prevent cross-contamination.
– Follow the production plan to fit the correct size mesh screens to the – Mogensen sieves according to the product matrix.
– Set up Tomra optical sorters to suit the incoming product.
– Collect and collate all regrind collection bins and totes at the end of each production run, print tickets, and manage regrind totes for mill operators.
– Assist with raw material transfers into the mill as an FLT driver.
– Provide cover for site waste management as required.
Hourly Rate: £12.64 p/hOvertime paid at time and a halfaveraging £606 a week.
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off12 hour shiftsDays and Nights, rotating.0600 – 1800: Days1800 – 0600: Nights48 hours a week.
