Reliable shifts available for Van Drivers with overtime optional. As an experienced Van Driver, you will be required to deliver white goods to predominantly domestic addresses throughout the UK. You may be travelling solo or have the assistance of a Drivers Mate depending on the nature of the load and the level of manual handling needed. The role will also involve face-to-face interaction with various customers and precise completion of paperwork.
Duration: This is an ongoing role that offers full-time hours.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: The rate of pay for this position is £13.25. You will accrue holiday up to 28 days pro rata.
Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday role with the option to undertake the occasional overtime on a Saturday. You can expect an early start which can vary from 04:00 to 07:00, with shifts typically lasting between 10 to 12 hours.
Experience & Qualifications: To be successful in this role as a Van Driver you will need:
- Your own transport due to early start times
- At least 2 years of commercial van driving experience
- No more than 3 points on your driving licence
- A positive attitude and willingness to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling duties
