HGV 2 / LGV 2 / CLASS 2 DRIVERS WANTED – IMMEDIATE START

You will be working for a leading transport and logistics company that was originally formed specialising in the transportation and moving of pianos and furniture across the United Kingdom and Ireland, and grew to be a leading distributor of palletised goods to customers throughout the UK.

You will be responsible for delivery of palletised goods to businesses throughout Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. Drivers will be required to open a curtain and wait to be unloaded. You will also at times be required to offload pallets using a tail lift and pump truck. All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: This is an on-going temporary assignment.

Contract Type: Permanent.

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday.

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times ranging between 0500-0700 each day. Average shift is 10 hours per day.

  • HGV/LGV Class 2 Licence
  • Full UK CPC
  • Valid digital tacho card
  • No more than 6 points

To be considered for this role you must have held your licence for a minimum of 1 year with at least 180 days commercial driving experience.
