Class 2 Drivers Wanted – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE - Temp to Perm
Working for a leading national plastics distribution company that offers the widest choice of roofing sheet, rooflights, and roofing accessories available in the UK, you will be responsible for delivery of products to building sites and customers throughout the UK. You will be required to complete between 6-8 drops per day. All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.
Requirements:
- A HGV C driving licence
- A UK CPC qualification card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 12 months on your licence with at least 180 days of commercial driving experience.
Position Details:
- Full‑time permanent position
- Working hours: Monday to Friday with start times between 0400-0600 each day
- Average shift length: 12-14 hours per day
- Pay: £17.85 per hour, overtime paid at £21.84 per hour after 40 hours each week
- Holiday: up to 28 days per year through PAYE
