Job Description
I am Currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join an operation based in Stallingborough, working on behalf of a worldwide freight and logistics service.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular Class 1 work with a well-established operation handling a wide variety of freight and deliveries throughout the UK.
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of a variety of loads to customers and sites across the UK.
You can expect to:
- Drive modern Class 1 (C+E) vehicles across the UK
- Carry a variety of freight and loads
- Deliver to a wide range of locations and customer sites
- Complete vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are operated safely
- Secure and transport loads in accordance with company procedures
- Complete delivery paperwork and digital tachograph records accurately
- Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers and delivery sites
- Comply with all UK driving legislation, Working Time Regulations and drivers’ hours
Duration: The position is long term, ongoing
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: You will be paid £17.50 an hour and accrue up to 28 days paid holiday a year.Please note we do not offer sponsorship.
Working Hours: This role is days, some weekends and possible nights out. 40-50 hours a week.

Experience & Qualifications
For this position, you must have:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
- A minimum of 1 year’s Class 1 HGV driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A good understanding of UK road networks
- Experience with trunking, general haulage or UK-wide deliveries is desirable
- The ability to complete vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The flexibility to undertake overnight stays when required
