In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting white goods across the UK, operating from a depot near Ruddington. Deliveries may be completed solo or as part of a two-person team, depending on the route and load.

The role is physically demanding, involving regular lifting and handling of large items. However, you’ll be equipped with the right tools and equipment to ensure all deliveries are carried out safely.

As you’ll be entering customers’ homes, a professional attitude and strong communication skills are essential to provide a positive delivery experience.

Duration: While this is initially a temporary role, there is consistent work available for those looking for a longer-term opportunity.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Earn £13.00 per hour in this role, with paid holidays building up to 28 days per year (pro rata).

Working Hours: Expect early starts, usually around 04:00, with shifts running for approximately 10–12 hours depending on the route. Each day is busy, with around 8 to 14 deliveries to complete, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, on-the-road working day.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Access to your own vehicle or reliable transport due to the location and early start times
  • No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
  • A minimum of 1 years’ commercial van driving experience
