HGV 2 / LGV 2 / CLASS 2 DRIVERS WANTED
You will be working for a local South Yorkshire-based storage & distribution company who offer a comprehensive Transport & General Haulage service across domestic, European and international markets as well as being a proud partner of Europe’s largest SuperHub, Palletforce.
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout South Yorkshire completing up to 10/12 drops per shift. Drivers will be required to either open a curtain and wait to be unloaded, or off load pallets using a pump truck and tail lift. All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.
Duration: This is an on-going temporary assignment
Contract Type: Permanent
Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £15.00 per hour PAYE. You can also be paid through our Umbrella payroll at £18.00 per hour which will be holiday pay included.
Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 0700 each day.
Experience & Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Digital tacho card
- A full UK CPC
- No more than 6 points on your licence
