HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Tramping – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

Working for a family run transport and logistics company that specialise in transportation of aggregates, you will be responsible for delivery and collection of aggregate products to and from quarries as well as well known trade retailers. You will be required to complete 1-4 drops per day tramping Monday to Friday throughout the whole UK. All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.

Duration: This is an on-going temporary contract

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.50 per hour with nights out paid at £30.00 tax free

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with drivers being required to tramp out all week, start time on a Monday is typically 0500.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • A HGV C+E driving licence
  • A UK CPC qualification card
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years on your licence with at least 180 days commercial driving experience.
