We are recruiting dependable and motivated individuals to become part of our outdoor surface maintenance team. This position involves travelling to sites across the country to carry out repairs and general upkeep on a variety of sports surfaces using small motorised machinery and equipment.

The role is hands-on and includes physical labour, manual handling, and lifting duties. Due to the nationwide nature of the work, occasional overnight stays will be required, so flexibility to work away from home is important. In return, we offer paid travel time from site and back to site and an immediate start for suitable candidates. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong attitude towards work are key requirements for this role.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.71 an hour and will accrue holiday up to 28 days per year pro rata.

Working Hours: Working hours usually start between 4:00am and 7:30am, with shifts lasting around 8–12 hours. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on site location. While the role is mainly Monday to Friday, there may be quieter weeks with reduced hours, so flexibility is essential.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in outdoor or physical labouring work
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight
  • Access to your own transport to accommodate varying shift start times
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work under direction
