We are recruiting multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers to support a busy refuse collection operation covering Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. As part of a dedicated crew, you will drive a refuse collection vehicle while working alongside loaders to complete scheduled household and commercial waste collections safely and efficiently.
This role offers:
- Monday to Friday working
- Regular, guaranteed hours
- Frequent Saturday overtime
- A genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate
Hourly Rate: Pay Rates
- First 12 weeks
- £14.50 per hour for the first 8 hours worked each day
- £21.75 per hour after 8 hours and for all Saturday hours
- After 12 weeks
- £14.92 per hour for the first 8 hours worked each day
- £22.38 per hour after 8 hours and for all Saturday hours
Holiday entitlement accrues up to 28 days per year, pro rata, throughout your assignment.
Working Hours: Shifts start at 05:30am, with most days finishing at around 2:00pm, giving you the rest of your afternoon free. Saturday overtime is regularly available for drivers looking to maximise their earnings.
Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A full UK Driving Licence
- HGV Class C (Category C) entitlement
- A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- A minimum of 12 months’ commercial driving experience
