We’re currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for trunking / linehaul work for one of the most respected parcel carriers. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for steady work with minimal manual handling.
Responsibilities- Class 1 trunking / linehaul runs
- Depot-to-depot work
- No handball (curtain side or box trailers, depending on run)
- Day or night shifts available
- Regular routes with consistent start times
- Duration: This is a temporary role with the opportunity to achieve a full time role
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Hourly Rate: The salary for this role is: £17 per hour for 41.5 hours per week, with 28 days of paid holiday pro rata.
- We do not offer visa sponsorships
- Varied start times between 06:00 and 12:00 Monday to Friday
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience (flexible depending on client)
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
