We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in North Hykeham. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely handle and move heavy items such as radiators, towel rails and large garden furniture.
- Use hand scanners to accurately pick and process orders.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Ensure all items are stored and handled with care.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily targets.
Duration: The position is long term ongoing.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.70 per hour and accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
Please note we do not offer sponsorship.
Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday with the start time being 07:00 and shifts averaging 9 hours. You will have a 1 hour break.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Comfortable performing tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Able to operate hand-held scanners (training will be provided if necessary).
- Dependable, punctual, and works well within a team environment.
