Laundry Operative in Lincoln

Job Description

We are currently looking for Laundry Operatives to join a busy laundry facility in the Lincoln area.
This is a hands-on, physically active role working along the laundry production line. You’ll be responsible for handling garments throughout the process, ensuring they are correctly scanned, loaded, unloaded and checked to a high standard.
The Role
Your duties will include:

• Working along the laundry production line
• Scanning garment barcodes using handheld equipment
• Loading and unloading garments from industrial laundry machines
• Moving and handling garments throughout the facility
• Checking garments carefully for faults, damage or defects
• Reporting any issues identified during the process
• Ensuring garments are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Duration: Long term ongoing with perm opportunities

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Starting wage £13 p/h (£507 per week)Weekly pay28 days annual leave pro-rata

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday:0700 - 1600Friday:0700 - 1200(4.5 day working week)30 Min Breaks39 hours paid per week

Experience & Qualifications

We’re looking for people who are:

• Physically fit and comfortable with a hands‑on role
• Able to work on their feet for extended periods
• Comfortable with repetitive lifting, loading and unloading
• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to follow processes and instructions carefully
• Have good attention to detail, particularly when checking garments for faults or damage
• Comfortable working as part of a team in a busy environment
• Previous laundry, warehouse or production experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
