Looking for reliable Class 2 driving work with regular Monday to Friday hours, minimal handball, and competitive rates of pay? We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for an ongoing position delivering goods across the NG postcode area, with occasional deliveries further afield.
This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent work with a reliable client and regular weekday hours.
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering frozen, palletised, and cage-based goods to commercial customers.
You’ll typically complete between 1 and 5 deliveries per shift, with minimal handball involved. You’ll be driving a curtain-sided Class 2 vehicle and will use tail lifts and electric pump trucks when making deliveries.
The role is straightforward and physically manageable, making it ideal for drivers who prefer delivery work without heavy manual handling.

Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:
- A full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A valid UK Driver CPC Card
- A minimum of 1 year’s HGV Class 2 driving experience
- No points on your driving licence
- No brand-new passes
- To have held your licence for at least 2 years, or be aged over 25 with 2 years held
- Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
- Experience using tail lifts
- Experience operating electric pump trucks
- A good understanding of safe loading, unloading, and delivery procedures
- A reliable and professional approach to work
