HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE – Tramping and day work available.
Our client is a family run transport and logistics company that specialise in transportation of aggregates. As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivery and collection of aggregate products to and from quarries as well as well-known trade retailers. You will be required to complete 1-4 drops per day, tracing Monday to Friday throughout the whole UK. All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.
Location: Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
Duration: This is an on-going temporary contract.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.00 per hour. Nights out paid at £30.00 tax free.
Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times around 05:00 each day. Tramping and day work both available.
Experience & Qualifications: To apply for this role, you must have the following:
- A HGV C+E driving licence
- A UK CPC qualification card
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 1 year on your licence with at least 180 days commercial driving experience.
