Job Description
Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for regular weekday work with minimal manual handling? We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for an ongoing position delivering goods across the NG postcode area, with occasional routes further afield.
You’ll be delivering frozen, palletised and cage-based goods to commercial customers, typically completing between 1 and 5 deliveries per shift.
The vehicles are curtain-sided Class 2 vehicles, with deliveries completed using tail lifts and electric pump trucks. Only minimal handballing is involved, making this a good opportunity for drivers who prefer a straightforward delivery role without heavy manual work.

Experience & Qualifications
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid UK Driver CPC Card
- Minimum 1 year’s HGV Class 2 driving experience
- No points on your driving licence
- Brand-new passes will not be considered
- Licence held for at least 2 years, or aged over 25 with 2 years held
- Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
- Experience operating tail lifts
- Experience using electric pump trucks
- Good understanding of safe loading, unloading and delivery procedures
- Reliable and professional approach to work
